The 2008 Miss Universe crown has been designed by Ms. Dang Thi Kim Lien of CAO Fine Jewelry and Rosalina Tran Lydster of Jewelry by Rosalina.

The beautiful 2008 crown is valued at $120,000 and is made of 18K white and yellow gold. There are more than one thousand precious stones used to make the 2008 Miss Universe crown which includes 375 cognac diamonds (14 carats), 555 white diamonds (30 carats), 10 smoky quartz crystals (20 carats) and 19 morganite gemstones (60 carats).

The 2008 Miss Universe® Pageant winner will be announced on July 14 and will be broadcast live on NBC July from the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam, Asia.
