Damian Marley was born on the 21st of July, 1978 in Kingston,
Jamaica. His
father was the famous singer, activist and rastafarian Bob Marley.
His mother was the beauty pageant and winner of Miss World 1976
Cindy Breakspeare. Marley has ten siblings on his father's side
of the family and three from his mother's. Damian was just two
years old when his famous father Bob died from cancer in 1981.
Like much of the Marley family Damian has been involved in music
from an early age. His music sometimes blurs genres and has been
labelled reggae, dancehall, hip hop, ragga and even dance music.
Marley has collaborated with a number of music artists including
Stephen Marley, Ziggy Marley, Capleton, Drag-On, Yami Bolo, Bunny
