Elle Macpherson was born on the 29th of March, 1964. Macpherson was one of the first "Supermodels" along with other models like Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell. She has appeared in several movies and television programs, and is a very successful business woman.

Elle Macpherson's birthplace was Killara, a suburb of Sydney Australia. She was born Eleanor Gow and changed her lastname to that of her stepfather's (MacPherson) after her parents divorced while in her teens. Macpherson began studying pre-law at the University of Sydney and completed just one year of study.

Macpherson was discovered while skiing on the mountains in the state of Colorado in the United States. The Click modeling agency in New York signed her up and Elle's law ambitions quickly took a back seat.
