was born Shawn Corey Carter on the 4th of December, 1969. Jay
Z grew up in the neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn,
NYC and went to the Downtown Brooklyn high school where The Notorious
B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes also attended.
Jay Z released his debut album "Reasonable Doubt" in
1996. The album was well received by critics and consumers with

It was reported that Jay-Z bought his wife a $5 million dollar
wedding ring designed by Lorraine Schwartz.
